Stacey Huang
She started her dance career in Ballet when she was 4 years old. At the age of 14 she started to learn other dances such as Jazz, Hiphop, Contemporary Dance, and also some Indonesian traditional dances.
In 1999 she fell in love with Latin Ballroom Dancing and has joined competitions in different cities in Indonesia. After a while she decided to learn more about the real Latin Dancing where she found Cuban Salsa and started to dedicate herself to Cuban Salsa in 2012.
In 2014, she formed a Latin Dance Community named Surabaya Latino Dancers, together with a group of friends who also love to dance. Since then she has been growing to develop her knowledge and skills in Cuban Salsa. She merged her Latin Dance Community with Cuban Salsa Indonesia Organization and has been certified with Master Diploma of Cuban Salsa Indonesia Teaching program in 2016.
Stacey believes that everyone can dance, and to expand her dancing skills and experiences, she joins many dance workshops from Indonesia to Malaysia, performing professionally in many events.
In 2017, she moved to Bali and started training Brazilian Zouk with many international Zouk teachers across the globe, and with the community support, has been teaching Brazilian Zouk since 2019.
Having those skills, she keeps growing rapidly, from teaching Cuban Salsa, Brazilian Zouk & some other Latin Dances in Indonesia, such as: Bachata and Kizomba. Moreover, she was also giving Cuban Salsa workshops in Latin Experience Events and some other Latin Dance Events in Malaysia, such as: ALFA (Afro Latin Festival Asia), and WBF (World Bachata Festival).
